Well our 2nd little one is now 4 months old, my how time flies! Thankfully *knock on wood* she's been MUCH more laid back than our son was as a newborn. Made the transition from 1 to 2 a lot easier. :) With our first, as with any new parents, we were learning and he was the guinea pig. We couldn't figure out how to swaddle him correctly until he was 3 months old! ..he was a big baby so regular swaddle blankets didn't work, or we couldn't figure it out.
So after 4 months, of more seasoned baby parenting, here are my thoughts on the
Top 3 newborn baby MUST HAVES
*These are just my opinions, I am not being compensated for anything.*
1. Swaddle Sack - Soooo much easier than wrapping! And it eased my mind at night knowing that she wouldn't unwind the blanket and cover her face. Our personal favorite is the ModSwad. It's similar to the Woombie, but so much softer - made of a soft stretch bamboo fabric.
2. Wrap Carrier - Baby E spent her naps in our Baby K'tan for the first couple of months! This thing was a life saver for a fussy morning, or any time. And it was super handy to use while grocery shopping to keep those strangers' sticky baby hungry fingers off the face. Many prefer regular wraps, but I never could figure out how to wrap correctly, and the K'tan is super easy for me. Slip it on like a shirt and adjust. Ta da!
3. My Brestfriend Pillow - This pillow for breastfeeding makes nursing tons easier on the back!
